Is there really a free plan?+
Yes. The Developer plan is free forever for individuals modeling and simulating a single system, with no credit card required.
How is the Team plan billed?+
Team is billed per active user per month through Stripe. You can add or remove seats at any time.
What are Flow Credits, and how do they interact with the plan?+
The plan covers seats, retention and access. Simulation and AI compute draw from a separate credit balance: a run costs an entry charge plus a small amount every 30 seconds it keeps running, and the rate scales with the traffic and the size of the system carrying it. The multiplier is capped, pausing is free, and a run that fails refunds itself automatically. Designing, editing and opening your work never costs credits.
Can a runaway simulation empty our balance?+
No. Charges settle before work starts rather than after, the load multiplier is capped, and the wallet shows the live rate and how much runtime the current balance buys at that rate. Stopping a run stops the charge immediately.
Can we self-host SystemFlow?+
Not yet. Self-hosting is on our roadmap but not shipped - if it matters for your evaluation, tell us and we will factor it into the timeline.
Do you offer startup or open-source discounts?+
